When I was youth pastoring in the SF Bay Area a couple of years ago, I used to take my kids into the Tenderloin District of SF once a month and we would hit the streets with YWAM and just give out cups of hot chocolate and conversation. I always tell people that one of the biggest things that my teens got out of those conversations, was that the only thing that seperated them from the crackheads, prostitutes, and man-whores we sat and talked with - was just a couple of choices. The decisions they make in their teens have a long-lasting effect! That’s awesome.
