yes, it’s the kiwi fruit capitol of the world (they can’t just call the fruit “kiwis” here, since that’s how one refers to a person from new zealand). and, yes, we stopped at the cheesy roadside “kiwi 360″ tourist center. and, yes, i think it’s pronounced “tay-poo-kay”. but, that didn’t stop our family from getting a big kick out of the signs on both ends of town…
