Holly and Ryan are simply ridiculously talented people and this album totally finds Ryan coming into his own. Plus it's a little more fleshed out musically than their other endeavors too which is kind of nice. I dig that piano vibe he's got going on now... Couldn’t agree more, Marko! Mark Scandrette was there as a guest speaker and Cobalt Season came along to do music. It was funny b/c he had mild "cusswords" in a couple songs, and part of me was laughing that that was the first time I'd heard someone do that in the middle of a church service. Oh yeah, baby - missional, incarnational alterna-folks - keepin' it real. I laughed b/c I thought of the folks I know who would have freaked out at that. The songs were good. Insightful. Thought-provoking. I didn't have any cash on me, so I couldn't get a CD. I wonder if I can plug them into my Pandora station? Will try...
