Amen.

Yac was a wonderful man whose love for life and God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit was infectious. I had the honor of meeting him at a couple conventions, and he is truly missed.

God Bless you Marko, Tic, Karla and the rest of YS for continuing his vision. I’m sure he’s proud of you all!

WHOO HOO!

I still use his books in youthwork. I’ve updated the Tension Getters and de-Americanised them for a UK audience, and find them very helpful still.

That’s pretty good going, considering how ephemeral many youth resources are.

I’m a 50 year old youth worker (26 years vocationally) and currently on sabbatical. It’s dangerous when you get the time to think. I miss Michael Yaconelli. Where are those like him today?

I miss Mike’s words sooo much.

God is using his books to bring me back from the darkest periods of my life.

Constantly need to be reminded that Jesus loves a “mess” like me.
