btw, today is the 5 year anniversary of yaconelli’s death. hard to believe it’s been that long. still miss him.

Yac was a wonderful man whose love for life and God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit was infectious. I had the honor of meeting him at a couple conventions, and he is truly missed.

God Bless you Marko, Tic, Karla and the rest of YS for continuing his vision. I’m sure he’s proud of you all!

ED... November 1, 2008 at 7:07 am: I still use his books in youthwork. I’ve updated the Tension Getters and de-Americanised them for a UK audience, and find them very helpful still.

That’s pretty good going, considering how ephemeral many youth resources are.
