I read both 13 Reasons Why and Nurture Shock this summer.

I really liked both. We're doing a readers group with 13 Reasons Why with students, teachers, and parents right now. GREAT discussion about teen behavior towards their peers.

Nurture Shock was a good read as an addictions counselor. It challenged a lot of long held ideas about development. It has shaped my thinking about the human experience and learning theory.

Also, glad to see your back to blogging albeit less than before.

"The Year of Living Biblically" is one of the most enjoyable books I've read in a while. I also really liked "The Unlikely Disciple".
