no, really, i am

October 27, 2009

sorry for the delay. have been working out some boundaries for returning to blogging (both within myself, and with my wife). and i’m also laying low for a bit longer, as it doesn’t seem i can really talk about what’s going on until a few more pieces are in place. until then, know that i’m ok, that i’m really going to miss being in cincinnati this week at the NYWC (and next month in ATL, and in december in vancouver).

but i’m golfing with tic long today, and that should be just what the doctor ordered. i’m confident we’ll laugh a ton, be obnoxious, lose more golf balls than humanly possible.

Dude, If golfing actually serves to bring you joy then you must be a MUCH better golfer than I am! Hit ‘em straight.

Hey, I’m sure you’ve heard this from about a billion youth workers at this point, but I’m definitely praying for you and your family during this season. Enjoy the golfing and goofing off!

Hey, Marko. You are in our thoughts and prayers for sure. Thank you for all the ways you have encouraged and equipped me as a leader. That’s it. Just thanks, man.

Golfing with Tic sounds awesome. I hope your time was well spent.

Golf? What ever floats your boat. Whatever you do with your blog, I know it’ll be adventurous.

Hey man, I have communicated this elsewhere, but I want you to know that the NCYM Board and I are praying for you Jeannie and the kids. We do pray you will still be able to be with us in January in St. Louis.
May you be overwhelmed with His presence, peace, joy, and blessings,
Lee

Marko…if golf’s going to mend your wounds…come up here to MN. I’ll help you mend all next week! Although the high’s are starting to dip into the 40′s…and oh yeah, there’s that whole snow possibility thing.

ps-i’m reading your Middle School Ministry book you wrote with Scott Rubin…awesome stuff! However this plays out…DON’T stop writing books for me to read…please.

Hang in there. Here’s hoping you were able to hit ‘em straight on the course with Tic.

Let the Maratha’s of the world worry about the busy work, just go and set at the feet of the one who is the reason of it all. Oh and listen real close I think I hear a “Woo-Hoo” just for you……..

Hi Marko,
I just heard about what happened today and I was shocked. I’m sure we’ll learn more about the directions YS is heading in the days to come, but it came as a big surprise. I’ll be praying for you in this transition time. L.A. was amazing and I have been coming to the conventions for 8 years now. I can’t emphasize to you enough how much they have meant to me, how much you guys have touched my heart and that of thousands of other youth workers. Thank you for all that you have done for us and will continue to do. May God bless you and guide you as he leads you in new directions. Know that he is faithful and loves you very much.
