ever wonder what would happen if you microwaved a half-dozen whole eggs? or christmas lights? or a nerf football? those and a bunch of other items get mic’d in little videos on this site. there’s a clock that shows how long it takes (and they have nicely sped it up on those that take longer).

A friend of mine cooks with me at camps was a nurse working in the burns unit. She told me the most bloodcurdling story of a chap who came in with his face hanging off, whimpering, “It was only an egg…” I’ve always wanted to see what happens, but fretted a little about sacrificing my good looks…
I watched the Marshmallow one, and all I could think of was the classic line from Animal House –
“Bluto: See if you can guess what I am now.
[puts cottage cheese ball in his mouth and hits his cheeks with his fists and spits it out]
Bluto: I’m a zit. Get it?”
