this freaky little animation shows the addition of wal-mart stores in the u.s. over the last few decades. it starts with a few little regional blips, and slowly becomes a swarm. wild!

This map has been floating around for a while, but it’s scary nonetheless. Each of those dots represents a lot of money for China since Walmart gets 70% of its products from there.
