beijing pic of the day, final shot

my reason for traveling to china was to speak at an amazing youth event for expat teenagers. there were 200, with 20 nationalities. most were from a handful of expat churches around beijing, and about 60 had taking long train rides or flights to come in for this, their only youth ministry opportunity of the year (i spoke with one girl who’s family live in a tiny town in western china, and are the only expats in the town).

during one of my talks, i showed the group my silly little “fail” symbol (an F on the forehead, instead of the L for ‘loser’). so, when i sat in on the group photo with one of the churches, all the teenagers quickly made the fail sign. funny stuff.

time to fly home. really looking forward to seeing my family!
