i don’t want to be ethno-centrist or insensitive here, so i’ll try try not to comment directly on the appeal or lack of appeal of ferel cat stew, as suggested in this aussie article.

but what really cracked me up is that the proponants are calling it eco-friendly (since ferel cats are a problem in the australian outback):

The woman behind the controversial cat stew recipe has said Australians could do their bit to help the environment by tucking into more feral pests, including pigeons and camels.

  1. Marko you’ve been to Australia? I expected you’d know that theres lots of camels in Australia. Australia breeds some of the best camels in the world. They are a lot tougher than their middle eastern counter parts.
