he said, he said

still undecided about your presidential vote (assuming you have the courage to vote)? here’s a fun little app called “match-o-matic II“, on the abc news site. pairs of quotes (one from obama, one from mccain) are put up side-by-side, on a variety of issues (economy, immigration, taxes, abortion, climate, etc.). you pick the quote you agree with the most. at the end, one of the candidates gets launched off the little teeter-totter, and the “who said what” answers, along with your choices, are revealed (a mouse-over then reveals which quote you chose). i found it interesting how often it wasn’t obvious who said what!

  1. ok marko. i had the “courage” to take the online quiz. i was surprised. i came out with McCain. Barack was my guy for iraq, but that was about it. i guess i am still a small govt guy at heart. lol.

  2. Fascinating. Based on this, McCain and I agree on everything. Not a single Obama comment to agree with. So maybe the issue with McCain is lack of charisma – not a lack of substance.

  3. What they didn’t allow me to do was disagree with both statements. I ended up with McCain, but I’m not happy with that choice either. However, I am going to have the courage to vote. I’m still deciding who for is all.

  4. going in i thought it would be sort of a trick question type of thing. i ended up with obama – unanimously!
