when i type zondervan into a word doc, and it doesn’t recognize the word (since i haven’t bothered to hit ‘add to dictionary’), it suggests, as alternatives, “bondservant” and “wonderland”. hmmm. seems like there should be something in there, some fodder for deeper understanding, or some rocket-launcher for fun.
those are great suggestions. it always makes me laugh when i spell check by blogposts on blogger that the words ‘blog’ and ‘blogging’ aren’t in their own dictionaries. it always suggests ‘flog’ and ‘flogging’. makes me wonder…
i also think that the BEST way to get back at a senior pastor who is rattling your cage would be to get into his computer and ‘add’ misspelled words into his spell-check dictionary – the words that are commonly mis-spelled. i think that evil plan would be one of the best practical jokes you could play. although you could never tell anyone you did it…
