like, ya know?

i have a personal pet peeve with the tidal wave of “ya knows” and upturned sentence ends (with implied question marks on sentences that are not questions) that seems to have become normative. there, i said it. with conviction.

  1. OK, have you seen what else this guy has said when he speaks? He’s got something to say about teaching and leading kids today. Looks like NYC material.

  2. Are we now Taylor Mali addicted? This is the second clip of him.
    I notice at times if I am around certain teens, I end up using the word “like” a lot.
