the expert says this about boys names:
“The biggest trend is two syllable names that end in ‘n,’ ” she told CNN Radio. “We see names moving up like “Owen” and “Logan.” The name “Aaden” is also soaring up the charts.
and this about girls names:
“The girls names we see moving up most quickly tend to be quite feminine,” she said, “names starting with a vowel and ending in ‘a.’ “
personally, I think the biggest trend in baby names is giving your kid a last name for a first name. last time I was at the park with my kid, I hear all of these parents yelling out, “madison!” “connor!” “jackson!” and I’m thinking, “what is this, the military?!”
Ah. I see that “terrace” didn’t quite make the list. Also, I am surprised “Logan” didn’t top the list. I met three the other day — in one day.
