the 20 most amazing places to bungee jump

i have a love/hate relationship with heights. i get a bit freaked out by them, but still love the adrenalin rush. i get extremely nervous on the edge of, say, the grand canyon (because i’m not sure i trust myself!), but love bungee jumps and other “safe” high place adventures. my wife is just the opposite: she’ll stand on the very edge of a canyon, but would never bungee jump.

so, i enjoyed looking at this list of the top 20 most amazing places to bungee jump. i’ve done two of the twenty, and would love to try the rest!

here are the two i’ve done:

19. Ledge Urban Bungee, Queenstown NZ – 154 ft

8. Victoria Falls Bridge, Zambia – 500 ft

  1. I like heights. I’ve done it before. These pictures still made me clench my butt. Thanks for posting them and for giving me that “not so fresh feeling”

  2. I’ve been to the Queenstown, NZ one, but wasn’t allowed to jump because it was a school trip and bungee jumping wasn’t included in the permission slips.

Of course, I now include a provision for bungee jumping for all youth trips. just in case ;)
