thinking blogger award

well, this is nice. a couple other bloggers ( here’s one , i can’t remember who the other one was) have tagged me for a “thinking blogger award.”

as part of this prestigious award, i am to post this nifty little alien doo-hicky:

and, i am supposed to tag five others for the award. the instructions are:

1). If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think (ysmarko comment: the “if and only if” part seems a tad ridiculous to me. i’m kinda thinking that anyone who wants to link to 5 blogs that make them think should go ahead and do so! yes!)

2). Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme. (ysmarko comment: whatever. i don’t know the exact origin. but whoever made it up was really hoping for reverse traffic. kind of like pyramid marketing.)

3). Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote. (ysmarko comment: ok. proudly displayed. check.)

i’m gonna customize my awards and go with five thinking youth ministry bloggers. and my five nominees (or awardees, i suppose) are:

blair bertrand

damien o’farrell

mark riddle

chris folmsbee

tony myles

  1. It is kind of a weird award. Why not just label blogs that cause me to think without the rules, weird, eh?!
