win a free “Cartel Panda” t-shirt from The Youth Cartel and WhoopTee

the fine people at WhoopTee asked us if we’d like to give out some free t-shirts. “heck, yes!” said we.

then months went by, because we’re distracted sorts of fellows here at The Youth Cartel.

eventually, i whipped up this playful wee design, with a little help from Banksy. we call him the “Cartel Panda.” and we’re going to give away five of them, completely free!

WE HAVE WINNERS!

  1. I will wear it in November at the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis. Not only will I wear it where 20,000 youth are gather, but also where thier adult leaders are also present. Most importantly, ReBuildMyChurch partner Tony Vasinda will be there dying of major jealousy that I am wearing the shirt!

  2. Oh yeah, i’ll wear it at Hume Lake Summer Camp, the Thrive Conference, Planet Wisdom and more! You know my promise is solid.

  3. As a Pastor at a church, I will wear it proudly on a Sunday Morning while preaching a sermon! BOOYA!

  4. I would wear that in front of the White House (for sure) or with the Washington Nationals Racing Presidents at the Nats game.

  5. I will wear it at every board meeting I have for the rest of the year-including the fancy “Executive Committee” meetings. I will also wear it when I am interviewing to hire a new staff person this summer.

I’ll probably also wear it in the pool…nobody should have to see what kind of shape I’m in!

  6. I would wear it to our teen retreat the middle of April. I’m speaking Friday and would wear it then!

  7. I would wear it non-stop! I would not even take it off to wash it (well maybe every once in a while.) This would be perfect tee for photo ops by the way!

  8. I’d wear the t-shirt to Creation Music Festival Northeast. That’s spreading the image to like 70k people. And with a panda this boss, I’ll be set up for some great conversations.

  9. I’ll wear mine on a cruise to the Bahamas and then on a mission trip to Brasil. Represent!

  10. I will wear it on my anniversary trip with my wife this summer to St. Lucia. I am sure there are some youth ministry folks there that need to know about The Youth Cartel!

  11. I will wear it in Mexico when I go, I will also wear it skydiving (on the list of things to do this year) as well as during no shave November with a weekly beard update photo while wearing shirt.

  12. I’ll wear it on my sponsored bike ride for Mulanje Mission hospital in Malawi when I’m taking part in May in Malawi!

  13. Visiting the Panda’s at the Philadelphia zoo with water guns in both my hands.

  14. I’ll wear mine to the last sermon I preach at my church on may 19th about the Day of Pentecost and then to our 1st church planting meeting & to Exponential & to bed at night…

  15. I’ll visit the zoo and wear this to the panda exhibit. I’ll also give them some YC business cards…let’s make the panda/cartel partnership legitimate.

  16. I would wear this into every bar and local brewery that go into…and also to the mean streets of Alaska when I go on my cruise this August

  17. I would wear it to the zoo to help instill confidence in the animals for when they decide to revolt. I will wear it to Biltmore for my anniversary vacation. And I will wear it to Crossroads summer camp with Clayton King. Pictures will be taken.

  18. I will wear it to a Wheaton faculty meeting in the psychology department.
    They (we) need the cartel!
    Size: large

  19. I can’t do this but I think anyone who can wear it posing with an actual Panda (not just at the zoo but in the zoo…with zoo permission of course) OR with President Obama should win…if posing with a Panda AND the President they ought to win free cartel shirts for life

as for me, I can only promise that I’ll either wear it under another shirt or over a long tee as that’s pretty much how I use t-shirts…it probably gets worn in Santa Maria, at Disneyland, at Biola, on the Navajo reservation and perhaps a few other places

  20. It will become a crucial part of my weekly wardrobe which consists of and is not limited to hanging out with students, staff meetings, date nights with my bride, speaking engagements, photo bombing, #instapanda, and baptizing 5 middle school students on April 7.

  21. I will wear that amazing shirt with pride at the Princeton Forum on Youth Ministry in April where I will be attending various ym training with many, many youth ministers as well as the mentor ship training (also at Princeton) AND at the Bahamas Methodist Habitat mission trip in June FOLLOWED BY the North Georgia Annual Conference (also in June) where many North Georgia UM leaders will be hearing about youth ministry in our conference. I will also wear it at the NYWC in Nashville in November, followed by The Summit in Atlanta (also in November). Whew.

  22. I’ll spread the love around. My brother will wear it at Coachella; my hipster sister around the Haight Asbury farmer’s market + her work (Chronicle Books); myself on the field at Bannockburn this summer; my flight attendant Uncle on an AA flight to the Dominican Republic; and finally, Nana will rock it at the Brookdale Senior Living Home between her naps for a week. Oh wait… youth workers have to see it?

  23. I’ll wear it on my trip to Uganda in May. But not in the airport. And hopefully I don’t run into Joseph Kony. But if I do, I’ll try to get my picture taken with him.

  24. It looks like a nice t-shirt and would be a welcome addition to my meager collection! A men’s Large would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

  25. Hmm. Well I don’t wear a t-shirt just once. But I would wear it on a Sunday morning at church. Or I would wear it at a youth ministry event. I lead a monthly gathering or youth ministry cohorts, I could wear it at that meet up. I play trivia at a local bar (and grill) and I would wear it there. I guess I would wear it at the Krogers I shop at, or the Target I frequent. My senior pastor would love it, when I walk into our Monday morning staff meeting wearing it. I do go to the gym occasionally, I suppose I would wear it there. I lead a Bible study with college and young adults that I would wear it at.
But I wouldn’t wear it when visiting a local high school or middle school. Since the Panda appears to be holding guns, and I believe that would violate the student’s dress code policy, it would be best not to in that environment.
