One girl said, “That depends, does my faith make my butt look big?”
That reminds me of a time when I was talking about the verse out of John 15 that says,”
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” It was at this time I asked the question (which in hindsight was a dumb question to ask), “If you saw a friend getting ready to be hit by a car, would you jump in front of them and save them? “At this one of my students, Amy said, “It depends on if they are a Christian or not, because if they are a Christian what’s the use, they are gonna go to heaven anyway.”
Oh man that made me laugh out loud. My wife laughed so much she cried.
