… he would certainly be turning in his grave.
this re-write of u2’s ‘one’, performed by two bank of america execs at an event celebrating the coming-together of some of their credit card divisions, well… i’m not sure i have words… um…
but, trust me, you gotta watch it.
(ht to bob carlton)
wow, bankers have too much time on their hand
i was going to say, “at least he did a good job with it” (and he did, i guess, for what it was), but – dang…
I wish I’d been there. My laughter would’ve been hard to contain.
yikes…
That is the funniest thing I have ever seen.
I’m serious.
As a lifelong U2 nut, I’m devastated. A brutal act to take a passionate song and make it about greed and money. Made me feel sick. Man, the singer was really into it!
if you need a definition of irony, match the words of that song with U2’s version. Wow.
That made my heart hurt. That was just wrong.
By the way, never say “If Bono were dead…” I don’t like thinking about that.
