on the way to school this morning, liesl (my 11 year-old) said, in a cutesy baby-talk voice: look at the little jesus on that car!
there was, now that she pointed it out, an extremely small jesus-fish in the lower left corner of the rearview window of the SVU in front of us at the traffic light. really, like an inch long, nose-to-tail.
me: wow, that is small.
liesl: it’s like they want god to know it’s a christian car, but they don’t want anyone else to know.
Watch your toes people, watch your toes.

Not sure what to say about that. Is that any better than the people who have every CHristian bumper sticker known to man on their car and drive around in a perpetual state of road rage?
dude, you’ll never find a christian bumper-sticker, mini-fish, or giant-fish on my car. this was just an observation of what an 11 year-old noticed.
amazing what wisdom comes from unfiltered speech.
I didn’t think that it was your car or that you even do something like this. Like you I wouldn’t and don’t have something like that on my car. Your daughter’s words were very profound.
