i’ve been a lame blogger lately. i have many thoughts i’d like to blog about, but haven’t found the time. hopefully, i’ll get back on in the saddle in the days and weeks to come.

in the mean time, here’s a little photo survey of our camping trip to yosemite this past week:

the first two days were warm and beautiful, and we did a lot of this…

and saw stuff like this (a rock slide that closed off a portion of the “mirror lake trail”)…

and breathtaking views like this…

but on our third day, it turned very cold, and rained the entire day and night, and we had to construct this…

we tried to stay warm at night by doing this…

then, on the fourth morning, we woke up in 20 degree weather to 6 inches of snow, and it looked like this…

we found an empty lounge at the historic ahwahnee lodge, and stayed warm by doing this…

even though it was crazy-cold for tent camping, the scenery was awe-inspiring, like this…

as we left on the sixth day, with easter on our minds, it was cool to anchor that thinking to the creation-impulses of our god, which are fairly tricky to miss with views like this…
