The Youth Cartel’s Fiscal Cliff Sale

Big News, announced by my partner in The Youth Cartel, Adam McLane:

First off, I hope you get the not impressed meme. When I saw this photo of President Obama with U.S. gymnast McKayla Maroney on the White House flickr feed, I just knew we at The Youth Cartel had to have some fun with that.

Marko and I were sharing a cup of coffee last week, catching up on some business stuff between mentions of holiday plans, and one of us mentioned the doomsday tone of all this fiscal cliff stuff. First of all, doesn’t fiscal cliff sound like the name of a Dave Ramsey-inspired middle school retreat? I mean, isn’t this an economics thing? Isn’t the only scary thing about this new cycle the lengths to which the news will go to scare people? I digress.

So we decided to have a little fun… you know... enjoy the last couple of weeks before it all implodes, vindicating the Mayans.

With all of that in mind we are having a sale this week on all of our products. And in true fiscal cliff form– the more you spend the more you save.

  • Spend $20 – $49.99 and save 15%.
  • Spend $50 – $99.99 and save 25%.
  • Spend $100 or more and save 35%.

Coupon code? You don’t need a coupon code. We’ve set up our store to automatically adjust the price when you look at your cart.

When does the sale end? It started yesterday and ends either on December 16th, 2012 or when the world ends. (Whichever comes first.)

(marko comment: actually, i think ‘fiscal cliff’ was reggae great jimmy cliff‘s bookkeeper brother)

  1. Dude… just loaded up my cart with some gems only to find that when I calculate shipping to Canada the cost for shipping is almost 50% of the cost of the items in the cart… I’m not in a rush to get the stuff.. can we do better?

  2. Hey Marko, good stuff. I however happened to follow the link to the White House picture and found this ensuing paragraph…

“This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements, emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement of the President, the First Family, or the White House.”

It’s been nice knowing you my friend…
