yearbook yourself

lots of people have been having fun with yearbook yourself, a fun little viral marketing app (for shopping malls!) that allows you to insert a photo of yourself into dozens of yearbook photos from different years. then you can send them to a friend or download them. fun stuff, with lots of youth ministry uses!

here’s some of my pics (they would be much better if i didn’t have glasses, and if i didn’t have a bit of bangs hanging down in the pic i used):

1952 and 1954:

1958 and 1976:

1978 and 1982:

1984 and 1990:

  1. I think it is the ties that do it for me in the first couple of pics. I’d like to see your real year book pics put up as a point of comparison.

  2. This leaves my page totally wacked out on IE 6 on XP pro (my computer at the company I work at.)

it’s ultra wide, the pics overlap each other to the right – kind of a cascade, and it overlaps some of the words (the years of the pics.)

I’ll have to look at it later at home. :(

It is a fun site though. I suggest however, that you use a mugshot style pic – straight on. It makes the pics look better. don’t worry about rotation – once the pic is inside the yearbook pic, you can rotate and resize as necessary.

  3. In the years I have known you, it seems you almost have worn your hair in every one of these styles – they could be real photos.
